Biography (Curriculum Vitae)
Alan Zonno, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon who is board certified, with fellowships in both Orthopedic Trauma and Foot & Ankle Reconstruction. Dr. Zonno originally planned to become a neurosurgeon, but on the first day of his orthopedic rotation in medical school he assisted with a fracture reduction and was hooked on orthopedics from that point forward.
Dr. Zonno received his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Michigan School of Pharmacy. After obtaining his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, he completed residency training in Orthopedics at Brown University in Rhode Island. He obtained his Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship from Brown University and his fellowship in Foot & Ankle reconstruction from The Institute for Foot & Ankle Reconstruction, Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Zonno has authored numerous scientific research articles and has presented his research at both regional and national academic conferences
He is an active member of AAOS-American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, MSOA – Missouri State Orthopaedic Association, Missouri State Medical Association and Southern Orthopaedic Association.

In his spare time, Dr. Zonno enjoys running, biking, reading books and as a rule of thumb, anything that keeps him on his feet!
