Biography (Curriculum Vitae)
Dr. Go is a board certified general orthopedic surgeon who specializes in Fracture Care, General Orthopedics and sports medicine. Dr. Go began his career as an OR Nurse who was drawn to orthopedic surgery. He returned to medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon, with a specialty of general orthopedics, as it encompasses a vast number of orthopedic conditions as well as surgical and nonsurgical ways to treat them. Dr. Go enjoys being able to help people and getting them back to where they can pursue the things they love doing. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and biking.
Education
Dr. Go received his Associate Degree in Nursing and was elected to The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Hendrix College, graduating cum laude. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science, College of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in his third year of medical school. He completed residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Hobbies & Interests
He in on the Geriatric Fracture committee at Saint Luke’s East and is an active member of AAOS-American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, MSMA-Missouri State Medical Association, MSOS – Missouri State Orthopaedic Society and Alamo Orthopaedic Society. He previously served as Chief of Surgery at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.
