Scott Langford, M.D. is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, with a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery.
Dr. Langford decided to become an orthopaedic surgeon when he realized he had a strong desire to help people. His knowledge, training and experience in Orthopaedics and hand surgery make him well suited to treat most any type of orthopaedic problem. When patients are able to resume leisure or work activities following treatment or surgery, Dr. Langford enjoys knowing he was able to help with their injury, onset of pain, or arthritis.
Dr. Langford received his Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma. After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, he completed residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Kansas Medical Center. He obtained his fellowship in Orthopaedic Hand Surgery from University of New Mexico.
Dr. Langford has authored scientific research articles and has presented his research at both regional and national academic conferences.
He is an active member of AAOS-American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, with certificate of added qualification in hand surgery, MSOA-Missouri State Orthopaedic Association, MSMA – Missouri State Medical Association, Mid-American Orthopaedic Association, American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the Kansas Orthopaedic Society.
In his spare time, Dr. Langford enjoys running and spending time with his family.
